Solid-State Batteries: Lanthanum fluoride can serve as a functional additive or interfacial modification material for solid-state electrolytes. It improves interfacial compatibility between the solid electrolyte and electrodes, reduces interfacial resistance, suppresses lithium dendrite growth, and thereby enhances the cycle life and safety of solid-state batteries. Its good chemical stability makes it suitable for high-voltage solid-state battery systems.
