Blue tungsten oxide (CY-W30) refers to a series of non specific oxides of tungsten. The chemical formula is represented by WOx, mainly WO2.9, which appears as a blue or dark blue powder with high chemical activity, high reducing ability, weak oxidizing ability, and good photochromic and electrochromic effects. Blue tungsten oxide (CY-W30) will change color when exposed to light and turn into a faint blue. If you put it back in a black opaque bag, it will change back to its original color.

Application field:




1. Tungsten oxide (CY-W30) is used as an intermediate product for tungsten metal powder and tungsten carbide powder, and subsequently for the production of tungsten metal products.




2. Tungsten oxide (CY-W30) has gas sensitivity and is used for detecting toxic gases such as nitrogen dioxide and ammonia. Tungsten oxide thin film gas sensors and tungsten oxide nanoparticle sensors have been prepared, and the discovery of nanosensors greatly improves the detection of low concentration toxic gases.
