Nano copper oxide is a black powder that is insoluble in water and slowly dissolves in alcohol and ammonia solutions. It is soluble in dilute acids, NH4Cl, (NH4) 2CO3, and potassium cyanide solutions. When exposed to hydrogen or carbon monoxide at high temperatures, it can reduce metallic copper.

Usage:

(1) As an important inorganic material, it has a wide range of applications in catalysis, superconductivity, ceramics, and other fields.

(2) Used as a catalyst, catalyst carrier, and electrode active material.

(3) Used as a coloring agent for glass and porcelain, an optical glass polishing agent, a catalyst for organic synthesis, a desulfurizer for oils, and a hydrogenation agent.

(5) Used for the manufacturing of artificial silk, as well as gas analysis and determination of organic compounds.
