The mechanical strength of pure rubber is very low. Nano silica is the best filler for reinforcing high-temperature vulcanized silicone rubber. Nano silica aggregates have a good reinforcing effect on silicone rubber. After the addition of cy-SR01 nano silica powder to the rubber, a microcrystalline region with silica as the crystal nucleus is formed, which increases the physical crosslinking point and makes it easier to crystallize. Application characteristics of nano silica in rubber:
Jiupeng nanometer silicon dioxide (cy-SR01), as a reinforcing agent and anti-aging agent, can be used in rubber products to improve the strength, toughness, anti-aging, friction and ignition resistance, and prolong the service life of rubber products.
Nano silica is a very effective reinforcing filler for RTV silicone rubber, which can significantly improve its strength. On the one hand, it is due to the small size effect and large specific surface area of nano dioxide particles; On the other hand, it is because its surface contains many silicon light groups, and particles can form a network structure through hydrogen bonding and van der Waals forces. At the same time, silica particles also have strong interactions with polysiloxane molecules, improving the interface condition. The reinforcement effect of nano silica on silicone rubber is influenced by its particle size, specific surface area, and structure. Generally, the smaller the particle size, the larger the specific surface area, and the higher the structure, the better the reinforcement effect, and the higher the strength and hardness of the vulcanized rubber.

Usage of nano silica:
Mix raw rubber, hydroxy silicone oil, and nano silica (cy-SR01) evenly on a double roll rubber mixer according to the formula ratio. The mixed rubber is thinly processed into flakes, which are then subjected to heat treatment at 170 ℃ for 2 hours before being further processed with a vulcanizing agent. The flakes are then thinly processed and molded on a vulcanizing machine the next day. The vulcanization condition is 175 ℃ x t90. T90 is used to measure the positive vulcanization time of vulcanized rubber using the LH-90 vulcanization tester.
When adding cy-SR01 nano silica to rubber, attention must be paid to its dispersion degree in the polymer. The degree of dispersion of nano silica in the system has a significant impact on the properties of rubber. In transparent rubber systems, the higher the transparency, the better the dispersion of nano silica.
